Active Row Life Skills
Life Skills equips young people with confidence, resilience, and the transferable skills they need to thrive in life outside of sport. Delivered alongside our on water offers, it builds creativity, teamwork, problem solving, adaptability and leadership. The programme ensures inclusivity and supports students from diverse backgrounds and abilities. Through workshops, mentoring, and reflective practice, participants learn how lessons learnt on the water and with their teammates—such as perseverance and collaboration—apply beyond sport into further and higher education as well as their careers. Simply, Life Skills creates pathways for personal growth, helping young people explore their strengths, recognise their potential, and broaden future opportunities while fostering well-being, self-belief, and ambition.
