I am so excited to see the very first eDNA and microplastics samples being taken by the GB Row teams! These are the first of an immense data set to be collected over the next 4 years looking at how much microplastic and noise pollution there is around our coasts, and to see how they impact what lives there. This time next year new crews will be taking these samples and we will start to get a feel for any changes happening in our seas. If you want to be a part of this great endeavour why not look at taking up this challenge next year? We'll need people to follow the amazing individuals out there right now, and row the UK coastline taking the next sets of samples.
