“I have a passion for rowing. It has helped me become more confident in my own ability and comfortable with those around me. Rowing requires composure, perseverance and self-discipline; I have all of those characteristics. Rowing has made me push harder to achieve even greater.

In my opinion, there is no substitute, no game and no chocolate bar better than being able to push yourself off the jetty!”

13 year old, Fairlop Rowing Club

My daughter, who is just 13, is very new to the sport having only started 6 months ago. I am so thankful for everything rowing has done for her so far!

Meeting new people, having a club to call her own, fantastic personal trainer, increased confidence, much better posture, having something worthwhile to look forward to after school, the look of pride in her eyes after the first race – priceless!  The list is endless. She is very lucky!!!
